Foo Fighters Announce Surprise Concert for Record Store Day

Image Courtesy of RecordStoreDay.comFoo Fighters will be celebrating Record Store Day with an in-store concert at Record Connection in Niles, Ohio. In order to attend the show, you’ll have to be one of the first people to pre-order the Foos’ RSD release, Songs from the Laundry Room, in person at Record Connection. The pre-sale begins in-store at 10 a.m. on April 16.

Songs from the Laundry Room is a four-song EP containing demos of early Foo Fighters singles “Alone + Easy Target” and “Big Me,” plus a cover of Kim Wilde‘s “Kids in America,” and a previously unreleased track called “Empty Head.” Frontman Dave Grohl will also serve as the official ambassador of Record Store Day 2015.

The Foos’ Record Connection show will take place at noon on Record Store Day, April 18. That same day, Grohl is scheduled to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, taking place in nearby Cleveland, Ohio.
